What makes me one the best Florida family photographers?

I send over style guides, what to wear posts and a pre-shoot questionaire so when we are together you can be totally present and love on your little family -- letting me do the rest.

You will find me fluffing your hair, moving clutter out of the background and adjusting clothing that isn't laying quite right. I want your photos to be imperfect moments free of distractions.

I’ve photographed over 1,000 family, newborn and maternity sessions in the last decade. I know what to anticipate, how to photograph in every lighting scenario, how to deal with cranky kids, uncooperative significant others and tricky locations (like crowded beaches).

What happens if it rains for our session? What if it is cloudy?

I stalk the weather the 24 hours before our session, and if it looks like it will rain during our session, we will reschedule. During rainy season in Florida, afternoon showers pop up quickly and tend to last only a short time. If you are worried about rain, a sunrise session in Florida is safer as the mornings tend to be dry. Cloudy skies provide soft, diffused light which is beautiful for photos, so don't stress about that.

My kids have a short time limit for photos. Do you offer mini sessions?

As a mama of a toddler, I totally understand how short of an attention span kids have. Instead of asking your kids to smile for the whole session, I'll have you play, tickle, walk up the beach, splash in the water, and build sand castles. My goal is for your photos to be reflection of the moments of this season of life, and I find that a mini session doesn't allow us enough time to do this.

How long does it take until we get our gallery?

You can expect to get your full image gallery within 4 weeks of your session. If you need your photos sooner, I am happy to rush the editing so you have your gallery in 7 days for an additional $95 fee.

We're ready to book! How far in advance can we book a Florida family session with you?

If you know we already vibe, I'd love to send over a contract so we can make this official! Just email me at hello@brittanybekas.com. I book sessions up to 8 weeks in advance January - September and 12 weeks in advance for October - December dates.
